Day 1: Sorong Airport – Raja Ampat
Boarding in Sorong and setting sail

On arrival at Sorong Airport, you are met by your driver and taken to the nearby port to embark on your stunning vessel. Enjoy welcome drinks and snacks while the cruise director provides a safety briefing and outlines the itinerary. Settle into your cabin and prepare for the journey ahead. The cruise heads north towards Waigeo, covering approximately 40 nautical miles. This is a perfect time for relaxation and a full briefing on activities. If time permits, a first snorkel or check dive is scheduled.

Day 2: Raja Ampat
Yenbuba bay and Cape Kri

Embark on a day of exploration in the enchanting Raja Ampat. Begin your morning with a delightful breakfast, soaking in the tranquil beauty of Yenbuba bay. Dive and snorkel at Yenbuba Jetty, encountering turtles, barracudas, and vibrant corals. Enjoy leisure time with kayaking and relaxing on the scenic sandbank. The vessel then sets course for Cape Kri, a nearby destination for another captivating snorkeling and diving session. The day concludes with an overnight sail to the captivating Wayag Islands.

Day 3: Raja Ampat

You reach Wayag at dawn and embark on a morning trek up Mont Pindito, offering stunning views of the limestone islands. The day continues with you exploring Wayag’s inner lagoon, showcasing pristine white-sand beaches. You can explore this paradise using kayaks, paddles, or speed boats. The lagoon also presents beautiful snorkeling spots, where you’ll find giant clams and vibrant coral life. Divers will be enchanted by Batu Seven and a secret dive spot in Wayag, encountering mantas, giant clam shells, and exquisite coral gardens. The night is spent in the tranquility of Wayag’s calm inner lagoon.

Day 4: Raja Ampat
Kawe Island to Aljui Bay

After breakfast, you head to Kawe Island, starting the day with a potential visit to the Wayag Ranger Station for a chance to spot blacktip sharks along the shallow beach. Your journey continues southward, crossing the equator to reach the vibrant snorkeling and diving spots of Black Rock and Eagle Rock. Here, both divers and snorkelers can enjoy the dynamic environments, known for their stunning coral gardens, diverse marine life, and opportunities to encounter sharks and mantas. Later, you sail southeast to Aljui Bay for a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 5: Raja Ampat

The day begins with a visit to a pearl farm in the morning, followed by a journey towards the captivating Wofoh Island. This secluded paradise offers untouched beaches, exceptional opportunities for snorkeling and kayaking, and immersive diving experiences. In the afternoon, the voyage continues to a sheltered bay at Maniafun Island, promising a serene overnight stay.

Day 6: Raja Ampat
Piaynemo paradise: A day of exploration and tranquility

Your day begins with an adventure on Piaynemo Island, arriving shortly after breakfast. Enjoy snorkeling and diving in the Keruo Channel, famous for its vibrant corals and diverse marine life. Take time to relax on tranquil beaches and explore Melissa’s Garden, known for its stunning pinnacles adorned with soft corals. For those who prefer not to dive, serene beaches and excellent snorkeling opportunities await. After lunch, venture north to a new anchorage spot, where trekking and a refreshing swim offer a perfect afternoon activity. The day concludes with a night dive at Yangeffo Island, surrounded by pristine mangrove areas, directly from the vessel.

Day 7: Raja Ampat

Embark on a picturesque day as you sail to Arborek Island, greeted by the serene sounds of white kakatoes. Explore the inner mangrove with kayaks or opt for an early morning dive. Arborek offers a plethora of activities—snorkeling, diving, beachcombing, and village walks. The jetty, an easy dive/snorkel site, showcases giant clams and vibrant coral gardens. Continue the journey to Manta Sandy for snorkeling and diving, witnessing graceful reef mantas at their cleaning station. As the day unfolds, you cruise eastward towards Friwen Island, enjoying the sunset from the comfortable sundeck.

Day 8: Raja Ampat
Snorkeling and diving around Mioskon Island

After breakfast, you take a dinghy to navigate the crystal waters around Mioskon Island. This pristine reef offers enchanting snorkeling and easy diving opportunities, showcasing vibrant marine life such as yellow snapper, napoleon wrasse, trevallies, groupers, and wobbegong sharks. The adventure continues to Blue Magic, a dynamic pinnacle in the Dampier Strait. From reef fish to pelagic wonders, including manta rays, barracudas, trevally, and sharks, it’s a mesmerizing underwater spectacle. Concluding the day, you sail back to the Friwen anchorage, nestled between Friwen and Waigeo.

Day 9: Raja Ampat

Embark on an adventurous day in Raja Ampat, starting with an early morning trek in search of the elusive Bird of Paradise, a rare species endemic to West Papua. The trek, led by local guides, includes a scenic trip upriver and a 30-minute hike up into the tropical forest, offering the chance to see these magnificent birds at sunrise. After the trek, enjoy breakfast before diving and snorkeling at Friwen Wall to explore the vibrant underwater world. Enjoy free time on Friwen’s stunning beach and coral reef with kayaks and paddles. Meanwhile, the crew prepares for a special barbecue dinner on a pristine beach. Under the stars, you celebrate the last night of your cruise around the campfire.

Day 10: Raja Ampat – Sorong Airport
Last day of the cruise

After an overnight sail towards Sorong, you arrive at Sorong harbor in the early morning. It’s time to say goodbye to your dedicated crew. Your driver takes you to Sorong Airport for your onward flight or to your hotel in town.

For payment we accept USD, EUR, and IDR. Please let us know your preferred currency. For cruises, we require a deposit of approximately 30% of the tour price at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 to 90 days before the tour starts, depending on the rules of our partners. Prices are subject to change. The final price will be quoted upon confirmation of the tour. Foreigners need a travel permit for Papua (“surat jalan”). We will take care of this permit before your arrival. For the permit we need a copy of your passports and passport photos. A list of equipment will be sent with the booking confirmation.
