Day 1: Sorong Airport – Raja Ampat
Boarding in Sorong and setting sail

On arrival at Sorong Airport, you are met by your driver and taken to the nearby port. Your trip begins with a friendly welcome and safety briefing over a mocktail. The crew quickly drop anchor and the captain navigates towards Waisai. During this first leg, you settle into your cabins, prepare your gear, and mingle with fellow passengers and crew. Weather permitting, a first snorkel dive allows you to experience the wonders of Raja Ampat’s underwater world. The day ends with a lovely dinner and a night on board near Waisai.

Day 2: Raja Ampat
Discovering the Dampier Strait

This second day unfolds to the west of the Dampier Strait, renowned for its exquisite snorkeling and diving sites. Surrounded by islands adorned with lush vegetation, you explore Friwen, a picturesque island with coconut palms and a stunning reef. After a delightful lunch you sail to Yangeffo in the afternoon, where Citrus Ridge awaits our snorkeling adventure. This underwater haven teems with marine life, and it’s common to spot sharks and barracudas.

Day 3: Raja Ampat
Yeben & Wofoh Islands adventure

At sunrise, the boat anchors near Yeben Island, a hidden gem with clear waters, white sandy beaches, and vibrant coral formations. Snorkel or dive with reef sharks before heading to Wofoh Island, known for its pure white beaches and coral reefs. Experience a stunning sunset on Wofoh beach before a delightful dinner on the boat. Next stop: Wayag, Raja Ampat’s gem, as night falls.

Day 4: Raja Ampat

Get ready for the most breathtaking scenery in the Raja Ampat archipelago as you arrive at Wayag Island, a picturesque uninhabited haven. This collection of karst islands defines the beauty of Raja Ampat and is the most iconic site in the archipelago. For the adventurous, climb one of the peaks for breathtaking views. Try canoeing or stand-up paddle boarding in calm waters without the hum of an engine, surrounded by many shades of blue. Wayag’s waters attract rays, mantas, mobulas, eagle rays, reef sharks, and a variety of fish. Snorkeling around its islets is always awe-inspiring. At the end of the day, you set sail for an overnight trip to Piaynemo Island, another highlight of this cruise.

Day 5: Raja Ampat
Piaynemo bliss

At dawn, you anchor near Piaynemo Island. A breathtaking view of the archipelago can be enjoyed from the top of the viewpoint, which is reached by climbing 300 steps. Next stop is the star shaped lagoon, Telaga Bintang. Back on board, your first underwater adventure around Rufus Island features vibrant corals, surface-swimming species, and underwater caves. You then visit the renowned Melissa’s Garden, known for its abundant fish and exquisite hard coral gardens. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 6: Raja Ampat
A day snorkeling with manta rays and visiting the village of Sawandarek

An early embarkation takes you to the famous Arborek Reef, where Manta Ridge and Manta Sandy are the best spots to swim with manta rays. Drift along the reef to witness the ballet of the oceanic giants over a cleaning station attended by busy cleaner fish. After this great experience, you head to Sawandarek, a charming village in the southern part of Mansuar Island. After a walk through the village, you have time for another snorkel or dive site nearby. Dinner and overnight on board in Sawandarek Bay.

Day 7: Raja Ampat
Discover the underwater site of Yenbuba and the iconic Kali Biru

As the sun rises, you embark on your final underwater adventure in front of Yenbuba village, saving the best for last. The underwater world here boasts a breathtaking density and variety of fish, with a sloping reef adorned with stunning coral formations on one side and colossal schools of fish on the other. You then set sail for Rabia, south of the sprawling island of Waigeo, where a trek through the tropical forest leads you to Kali Biru (the Blue River). Amidst the lush vegetation, the water’s unique blue hue creates an idyllic setting. After a refreshing swim, you return to the yacht and prepare for a final sunset and dinner. In the evening, you begin your final cruise to the port of Sorong.

Day 8: Raja Ampat – Sorong Airport
Last day of the cruise

After an overnight sail towards Sorong, you arrive at Sorong harbor around noon. It’s time to say goodbye to your dedicated crew. Once you are ready, your driver will take you to Sorong Airport for your onward flight or to your hotel in town.

For payment we accept USD, EUR, and IDR. Please let us know your preferred currency. For cruises, we require a deposit of approximately 30% of the tour price at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 to 90 days before the tour starts, depending on the rules of our partners. Prices are subject to change. The final price will be quoted upon confirmation of the tour. Foreigners need a travel permit for Papua (“surat jalan”). We will take care of this permit before your arrival. For the permit we need a copy of your passports and passport photos. A list of equipment will be sent with the booking confirmation.
